Retail Assistant / Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Retail Assistant / Specialist to support our retail operations across a fully remote environment in Bahrain. The role bridges product sourcing, inventory planning, sales administration and customer service, ensuring smooth end‑to‑end retail processes within a construction‑focused organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement retail operation strategies, procedures, and governance frameworks aligned with project objectives.
• Manage the full retail lifecycle from product sourcing, inventory planning, purchasing, merchandising, order processing, fulfillment, to returns and reconciliation.
• Collaborate with project managers, commercial, procurement, legal, finance, marketing, sales, technology, suppliers and executive leadership.
• Maintain supplier agreements, purchase orders, pricing schedules, promotional arrangements and related commercial documents.
• Oversee retail administration procedures covering product setup, pricing, inventory, sales orders, promotions, returns, refunds and deliveries.
• Monitor compliance of suppliers, logistics providers and service providers with product specifications, delivery schedules, quality standards and commercial terms.
• Assist in handling stock shortages, damaged goods, back‑orders, cancellations, substitutions and other retail adjustments.
• Support financial and commercial reconciliation of sales transactions, inventory levels, pricing, discounts and promotions.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior experience in retail operations, sales administration or related fields.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, order processing and customer‑service workflows.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a remote setting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing commercial documents and compliance.
