Retail Leasing Agent

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Retail Leasing Agent to join our Transactional Services team in the retail real estate sector. The role focuses on market research, business development and delivering high‑standard client service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in retail real estate, including rents, trends and incentives.
• Secure leasing instructions within set guidelines to meet business targets.
• Network within the industry to generate new business opportunities.
• Research and present market data internally and externally to a professional standard.
• Set personal business‑development goals and implement strategies to achieve them.
• Refer leads and potential revenue‑generating opportunities.
• Administer all procedures efficiently and maintain accurate records.
• Support the Head of Transactional Services while managing personal workload.
• Maintain confidentiality, goodwill and trust with clients.
• Create and post research and market content on designated social‑media channels.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail and shopping‑mall leasing.
• Strong understanding of the local and regional retail real‑estate market.
• Proven track record in new lettings, lease disposals and advisory.
• Experience drafting and negotiating Heads of Terms and tenant/landlord agreements.
• Demonstrated business‑development and networking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
