Retail Project Manager

About the role

The Retail Project Manager will lead and oversee custom joinery and retail installation projects from award through to hand‑over. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication in English, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across the MENA region.

Key responsibilities

• Set up project kick‑off meetings with internal departments and fit‑out teams, aligning scope, timeline and expectations.
• Conduct site assessments, surveys and photography, identify loading zones and relay critical dimensions to the Setting Out Manager.
• Perform on‑site setting‑out/marking of joinery equipment and address technical queries from clients or general contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project schedules using MS Project, generate daily/weekly progress reports with photos and submit them for review.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines and ensuring smooth hand‑over.
• Coordinate daily communication with fit‑out teams, factory personnel and client representatives, escalating discrepancies promptly.
• Observe installations, recommend adjustments to equipment and support fit‑out teams in real‑time.
• Travel across the MENA region and adapt to flexible working hours, including weekends when required.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years experience in joinery manufacturing, managing hospitality or entertainment fit‑out projects.
• Strong leadership, self‑driven attitude and high sense of responsibility.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organisational, planning and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, Word and MS Project.
