Revenue Management Analyst

About the role

The Revenue Management Analyst supports the hotel’s revenue strategy by managing room inventory, rates, and restrictions. The role ensures accurate reporting, assists with forecasting, and helps automate processes within the reservation system.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in managing room inventory to maximize cluster revenue and maintain data accuracy.
• Prepare competitive analysis and supporting documents for market sales strategy meetings.
• Handle room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, communicating strategies to properties.
• Perform month‑end revenue reporting, auditing, and forward‑looking forecasting.
• Generate and update property and market revenue reports for the team.
• Maintain the reservation system by inputting rate hurdles, monitoring demand forecasts, updating group forecasts, and running daily checks.
• Train new associates on revenue‑management tools and support implementation of sales strategies in the system.

Required profile

• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of related work experience in revenue or hospitality operations.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
