Sales Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Sales Analyst to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. You will turn raw sales data into actionable insights that support strategic decisions across retailers, wholesalers, and pharmacies in the FMCG sector.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales data to spot trends, patterns and growth opportunities across product categories and customer segments.
• Develop and maintain regular sales reports, dashboards and performance metrics for senior management and the sales team.
• Monitor sales performance against targets, providing variance analysis and commentary.
• Support the sales team with data‑driven insights to optimise strategies and improve efficiency.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to deliver a comprehensive market view.
• Assist in building sales forecasts, annual budgets and strategic planning processes.
• Collaborate with marketing, supply chain and finance to ensure alignment on cross‑functional initiatives.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all sales reporting systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales analysis, business analysis or a similar analytical role, preferably within FMCG.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data modelling).
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
