Sales Executive - Hotel

About the role

The award-winning five-star Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain, part of Accor, is looking for a Sales Executive in Muharraq. The hotel is adjacent to Bahrain International Airport, has 97 rooms and 10 suites, and offers restaurants, bars, a spa and conference facilities. The Sales Executive identifies and develops new corporate, leisure, travel trade and group business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new corporate, leisure, travel trade and group business opportunities.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, presentations and hotel site inspections.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and key accounts.
• Promote hotel rooms, restaurants, conference facilities, banqueting and other services.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and revenue goals.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, contracts and sales reports, and follow up leads and inquiries.
• Coordinate with Reservations, Front Office, Food & Beverage and Events teams.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and pricing, and attend networking events, trade shows and exhibitions.
• Maintain client records in the CRM system and handle client feedback professionally.

Required profile

• Degree in Management, Tourism, Business Administration or Marketing.
• 1-3 years of experience in hotel sales, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of the Bahrain hospitality market, corporate sector and local business accounts.
• Experience managing corporate accounts, travel agencies, tour operators and business partners.
• Fluency in English is essential; Arabic is an advantage.
• A valid Bahrain driving licence is preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel products and services, including room reservations, corporate rates, meetings and events.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems, preferably Opera PMS and CRM systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
