Sales Specialist - Shipping & Logistics

About the role

CMA CGM Bahrain is looking for a Sales Specialist to support commercial activities, manage customer portfolios and drive business growth through quotation management and customer relationship development. The role works closely with the Inside Sales and Outside Sales teams to identify opportunities, promote CMA CGM Group services and non-maritime products, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an assigned customer portfolio to grow business and strengthen relationships.
• Oversee quotation activities through MyPrice, following up on pending, expiring and unbooked quotations.
• Analyze customer requirements and coordinate with relevant teams to provide tailored shipping solutions.
• Promote CMA CGM Group services and non-maritime products.
• Support commercial negotiations and help resolve pricing disputes and freight-related claims, including DDSM claims.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales and Outside Sales teams to maximize commercial opportunities.
• Monitor customer needs and market trends to spot new business opportunities.
• Contribute to commercial targets and improve customer retention and satisfaction.

Required profile

• University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in the shipping and logistics industry.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Strong account and portfolio management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and contribute to sales growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant commercial systems and applications.
• Understanding of customer needs and market dynamics.
