Scientific Consultant

About the role

The Scientific Consultant provides research‑based analysis, technical guidance, and subject‑matter expertise to help organisations evaluate scientific information, develop evidence‑based solutions, and make informed decisions. You will translate complex scientific data into clear recommendations for both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct scientific research, literature reviews, and data analysis using academic journals and scientific databases.
• Assess the quality, relevance, and limitations of evidence to support project objectives and strategic decisions.
• Prepare research summaries, technical reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external experts, and project managers to define scientific requirements and develop practical recommendations.
• Monitor emerging technologies, research trends, and developments in relevant scientific fields.
• Support experimental planning, documentation, technical assessments, and quality‑control reviews where needed.
