Security Guard

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Security Guard to protect our company’s property, assets, employees, contractors and visitors. The successful candidate will maintain a safe environment by monitoring premises, controlling access and responding promptly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol assigned areas and monitor them for any irregularities.
• Control entry and exit points, ensuring only authorized personnel gain access.
• Operate and oversee surveillance cameras and other security equipment.
• Respond to emergencies, incidents and alarms in a timely manner.
• Enforce company security policies and safety regulations.
• Document and report suspicious activities and incidents accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma from an accredited institution.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Minimum of one year of relevant security experience.
• Valid GTS (Guard Training Scheme) Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Excellent observation skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Physically fit, able to work shifts and respond to emergencies.
