Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer

About the role

Tanami is building secure, scalable platforms for private‑market financial transactions in the Middle East. As a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer you will design and operate the cloud foundation that enables rapid, reliable delivery of our services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS and GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for code and infrastructure.
• Architect secure, scalable environments for financial applications, including authentication with WorkOS and OAuth2.
• Own monitoring, logging and observability across all services.
• Ensure compliance with financial‑industry security standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and developer experience.
• Take ownership of production incidents and overall system reliability.
• Engage with business stakeholders on infrastructure strategy and roadmap.

Required profile

• 5+ years of DevOps or platform engineering experience in production.
• Deep expertise with AWS and GCP services.
• Hands‑on experience with Serverless Framework and Terraform.
• Proficiency in building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions.
• Startup mindset with high ownership and proactive problem solving.
• Strong security awareness for financial applications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
