Senior HVAC Technician

About the role

The Senior HVAC Technician will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems at Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain. You will work closely with other departments to minimise disruption and maintain the high standards expected in a five‑star hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of premises, HVAC systems, and related equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance on air‑conditioning, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Install, service, and repair air‑conditioning units including split, window, central AC, and chillers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and plumbing issues promptly.
• Monitor AC performance, gas levels, compressors, and thermostats for optimal operation.
• Maintain and repair furniture, fixtures, and physical infrastructure.
• Clean and service filters, coils, ducts, and ventilation systems.
• Maintain service logs, spare‑part inventory, and coordinate with external contractors when needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of hands‑on experience in general building maintenance.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
