Senior Manager – Devices, Business Development & Consumer Support

About the role

The Senior Manager will drive Zain Bahrain’s commercial growth by shaping strategic partnerships, launching innovative device initiatives and enhancing consumer support. Reporting to senior leadership, the role balances strategic innovation, operational excellence and customer‑centric execution across devices, business development and consumer support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement Zain Bahrain’s business development and partnership strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
• Identify, evaluate and execute new business opportunities, partnerships and ventures to increase revenue and market share.
• Lead negotiations and structure partnership agreements delivering strategic and financial value.
• Oversee launch and management of programs such as insurance, trade‑in and installment‑based offerings.
• Develop commercial frameworks and pricing strategies to maximise profitability across partnerships and devices.
• Define and lead device strategy covering smartphones, tablets, routers, accessories and emerging connected devices.
• Own the device portfolio roadmap ensuring the right mix of flagship, mid‑range and entry‑level devices for target segments.
• Drive device revenue, margin, stock efficiency and customer acquisition through pricing, procurement and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Collaborate with management to set the department’s annual roadmap and KPIs and represent the department in steering committees.
• Supervise Consumer Support and Business Development teams to ensure execution of strategic plans and initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10‑15+ years of experience in telecom, business development or partnership leadership.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, analytical thinking and financial modelling.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
