Senior Security Officer

About the role

BNET – Bahrain Network is seeking a Senior Security Officer to lead its 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) in Manama. This full‑time, on‑site position oversees both physical and operational security across the company’s critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SOC functions, ensuring continuous monitoring and incident response.
• Supervise security personnel across rotating shifts and maintain shift schedules.
• Operate and maintain Genetec Security Desk for CCTV surveillance and access control.
• Conduct regular inspections, risk assessments, fire safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Maintain accurate security logs, reports, and documentation.
• Support emergency response planning and coordinate with internal teams and external authorities.
• Drive digitisation of SOC processes using Microsoft Power Platform tools (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Promote a strong security culture throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in physical security operations, access‑control supervision, and incident response.
• Knowledge of security policies, risk‑assessment methodologies, and best practices for critical infrastructure.
• Leadership ability to supervise security teams and manage shift rotations.
• Willingness to work rotating morning, evening, and night shifts.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and external authorities.
• Relevant certifications such as Genetec Security Desk, fire safety, CPP, PSP, or equivalent.

Required skills

• Genetec Security Desk (or similar CCTV and access‑control platform).
• Microsoft Power Platform – SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate.
