Service Operation Center (SOC) Trainee – Generation Z

About the role

The Service Operation Center (SOC) Trainee will support the health of the network by monitoring elements, handling incidents, and acting as the first point of technical contact for network‑related issues and customer complaints. This role is designed for recent graduates eager to develop practical telecom operations skills.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor alarms and manage incidents, ensuring accurate reporting.
• Handle customer complaints, perform first‑line troubleshooting, and coordinate resolutions.
• Generate and verify business and technical statistics reports.
• Execute test procedures, analyse results, and isolate service problems.
• Assist senior teams in service restoration and create trouble tickets for OLOs, interconnect partners, and international carriers.
• Perform preventive maintenance, including regular checks and backups.
• Develop and improve processes, coordinate inter‑departmental activities, and conduct awareness workshops.
• Control change management activities and maintain event history logs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in telecom, computer science, or computer engineering.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (a plus, not mandatory).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
