Smart Operations Solutions Engineer

About the role

Fives Services Gulf is looking for a Smart Operations Solutions Engineer to design, develop, integrate and support digital solutions that enhance maintenance and operational excellence. The role bridges Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) to deliver real‑time visibility, process automation and data‑driven decision making for the company and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and integrate digital solutions linking Smart Crane systems, maintenance operations platforms, SAP Business One, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI and Power Platform.
• Support real‑time monitoring, predictive maintenance and asset performance initiatives across OT environments.
• Troubleshoot system issues, optimise IIoT devices and ensure seamless data flow between operational and enterprise applications.
• Collaborate with customers, operations teams and business stakeholders to drive digital transformation projects.

Required profile

• Strong background in industrial automation, OT/IT integration and digital solution delivery.
• Experience working with enterprise ERP (SAP Business One) and Microsoft data/analytics platforms.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into functional, scalable solutions.
