Solution Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Engineer to lead the design and delivery of advanced industrial automation solutions for Yokogawa’s Middle East and Africa market. The role will manage YMA system and standalone DES proposals and act as the technical ambassador for Yokogawa across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage proposals for YMA system and standalone DES solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Product Delivery, Service, Quality and Legal.
• Promote Yokogawa’s advanced solutions—Historian, Alarm Management, Advanced Process Control, Operator Training Simulator, Network Security and Digitalization—in the MEA region.
• Support the sales team to achieve targets, ensuring timely submission of proposals and technical quotations.
• Participate in task forces for major MAC or system proposals, coordinating with other business units.
• Maintain and improve proposal operations and sales portal updates.
• Assist in training needs assessment for the solutions team and support FEED, POC, LCA, and site surveys.
