Sort Agent

About the role

The Sort Agent will work in the ACS Bahrain Hub, ensuring that cargo is sorted, processed and handed over accurately and safely. This position supports DHL's commitment to quality service, sustainability and global connectivity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform ACS sorting activities according to shift requirements and operational priorities.
• Complete operational control and network tracking tasks within established timelines.
• Maintain compliance with inbound, outbound and transit shipment processes.
• Sort, prepare and hand over ACS cargo and PPWK shipments to Ground Handling Agents or third‑party providers.
• Coordinate outbound loads with hub H&G teams and record shipment data in OCNT and other DHL systems.
• Execute cargo reloading, ULD build‑up and palletisation following safety and GSOP procedures.
• Identify, report and segregate damaged shipments for further processing.
• Support operational improvement initiatives and departmental KPIs.
• Assist in training new team members and provide flexible support to other departments as needed.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in logistics, cargo handling, warehouse operations or express transportation.
• Valid forklift licence.
• Knowledge of cargo handling and ULD build‑up procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic PC proficiency.
