Sr. Specialist Demand Planning

About the role

Talabat is seeking a Senior Specialist in Demand Planning to ensure optimal inventory levels across its stores. You will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing replenishment parameters, and collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to prevent stock‑outs and over‑stock situations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily stock movement and generate inventory adjustment reports.
• Maintain and update replenishment model parameters such as lead times, reorder points, EOQ, and minimum order quantities.
• Prepare demand forecasts, initiate store orders, and track receipt of goods.
• Coordinate inventory management with Category Managers.
• Analyze and report on inventory and purchase forecasts in a timely manner.
• Dispatch orders to suppliers and ensure proper tracking.
• Liaise with suppliers to improve collaborative forecasting, planning, and replenishment.
• Maintain accurate records of in‑stock and inventory positions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in demand planning or related supply‑chain roles.
• Highly detail‑oriented, structured, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with senior executives and manage multiple stakeholder expectations.
• Proactive attitude, comfortable with ambiguity, and eager to learn continuously.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
