About the role
The position provides specialist linguistic support to U.S. Army operations in Bahrain. As a Tamil and Hindi linguist at CAT II level, you will act as a Subject Matter Expert, delivering cultural insight and language expertise to senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational contract linguist support for military missions.
- Interpret spoken language during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
- Transcribe and analyze verbal communications accurately.
- Scan, research, and analyze foreign‑language documents to extract key information.
Required profile
- Fluency in both Tamil and Hindi with strong oral and written skills.
- Experience supporting military or governmental operations is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
- Willingness to be stationed onsite in Bahrain.
Required skills
- Interpretation and translation of Tamil and Hindi.
- Document analysis and transcription.
