About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic, hard‑working individuals who love working with children to join our Infant School team as Teaching Assistants. The position is based at St Christopher’s School in Manama and operates during term time, including staff induction and training days. The role involves assisting the lead teacher with daily classroom activities, preparing learning materials, and helping maintain a safe and engaging environment for infants.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Fluent written and spoken English at a very high standard.
- Available to work term time only, including induction and training weeks.
- Must be a resident of Bahrain at the time of appointment.
- Bahraini nationals must not own any businesses or hold company sponsorships.
- Non‑Bahraini nationals must hold a dependant (housewife) visa linked to a husband who is registered with the LMRA.
- Provide copies of educational certificates (minimum School Leavers certificate; GCSE, A‑level or degree accepted).
- Position is a local hire.
