Waiter – Silk's Restaurant

About the role

The Waiter will join the service team at Silk's Restaurant, the all‑day dining venue of Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain. You will be the front‑line host who ensures every guest experiences smooth, friendly, and high‑standard service from the moment they sit down until they leave.

Key responsibilities

• Take food and drink orders, deliver dishes promptly and accurately, and explain menu items to guests.
• Support the team with food pick‑up, table setting, clearing tables, refilling stations, and drink service.
• Act as the liaison between Front of House and Back of House staff, ensuring smooth communication.
• Maintain knowledge of the Silk's Restaurant menu and all products served.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, take additional orders, refill water, and respond to special requests.
• Uphold food safety standards and report guest feedback to restaurant staff.
• Commit to sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing.
• Cover additional duties in the absence of a line manager or senior staff, including cross‑departmental tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel dining environment.
• Strong knowledge of menu items and ability to convey them professionally.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to follow sustainable practices and adapt to varied responsibilities.
