Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

The company is looking for an organized, operationally focused Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse activities, coordinate inventory operations and ensure goods are handled, stored and distributed efficiently. The role keeps warehouse workflows smooth, improves processes and ensures goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations: receiving, unloading, storage, picking, packing, dispatching and stock movement.
• Supervise warehouse personnel and coordinate daily workloads so tasks are done accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain accurate inventory by monitoring levels, locations and records, conducting regular stock counts, inspections and reconciliations.
• Set up storage arrangements, stock identification and organization standards.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing goods with suppliers, transport providers, logistics teams and internal departments.
• Ensure equipment, storage areas and handling facilities are kept in good working condition.
• Monitor order fulfillment and ensure goods are dispatched according to delivery requirements.
• Improve productivity, space utilization, stock control and efficiency through warehouse procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, security procedures and company policies; investigate discrepancies, damaged goods and delays and coordinate corrective action.
• Prepare performance reports on inventory accuracy, order processing, productivity and daily operations.
• Coordinate staff training, task allocation and performance monitoring, and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, stock control, order fulfillment and goods handling.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate personnel and daily activities.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices, storage procedures and equipment handling.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills, especially on stock discrepancies and operational issues.
• Good communication skills with employees, suppliers, transport providers and internal departments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and a hands-on, responsible approach to supervision.

Required skills

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software and ERP platforms.
• Microsoft Office applications.
• Monitoring inventory accuracy, stock reconciliations and reliable record keeping.
• Understanding of warehouse layout planning, space utilization and process improvement is an advantage.
