Watchman - Security Guard

About the role

A dedicated and vigilant Watchman is sought to join a team in Manama, Bahrain. The role ensures the safety and security of the premises, assets and personnel, helping maintain a safe environment and supporting operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the premises to prevent theft, vandalism and other security breaches.
• Inspect buildings, equipment and access points regularly.
• Check that security systems work properly and report any malfunctions.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Maintain a daily activity log, including unusual occurrences.
• Work with management to develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
• Assist employees and visitors and help create a welcoming, secure atmosphere.
• Attend training and stay up to date on security best practices and regulations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in security or as a watchman is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
