Wayfinding & User Experience Specialist

About the role

The Wayfinding & User Experience Specialist will design, implement and continuously improve navigation and communication systems across ParkPoint parking facilities and mobility services. The role ensures customers can move intuitively through sites in Bahrain, KSA and the UAE, using clear bilingual signage and consistent user‑experience standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive wayfinding strategies, conduct site assessments, user‑journey mapping and movement analysis to create master plans and signage location plans.
• Lead signage concept development, define hierarchy, bilingual Arabic/English terminology, design standards and coordinate with design teams, suppliers and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, accessibility standards and cultural requirements such as Qibla direction and gender‑specific facilities.
• Manage multiple workstreams, coordinate with Marketing, Operations, Central Planning, Technology and external stakeholders, and monitor schedules, budgets and implementation progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections, pre‑opening audits, quality checks of fabricated signage and post‑installation assessments to identify and resolve navigation issues.
• Research industry trends, evaluate digital and smart signage solutions, and continuously improve internal standards and best‑practice libraries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in wayfinding, environmental graphics or related user‑experience design, preferably within parking or mobility environments.
• Strong understanding of bilingual Arabic/English communication, typography and right‑to‑left layout conventions.
• Knowledge of GCC regulatory, accessibility and safety standards for signage.
• Excellent project‑management skills with ability to handle multiple sites and stakeholders across Bahrain, KSA and UAE.
