Accounts Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Specialist to join our finance team in Manama. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and supporting the company’s financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Check and update daily banking of cash and credit collections.
• Update weekly and monthly sales and inventory figures.
• Supervise online work and resolve pending issues promptly.
• Book petty cash vouchers and arrange priority payments, ensuring utilities are paid on time.
• Validate incentive, employee‑of‑the‑month and overtime sheets.
• Follow up and track receivables.
• Conduct regular store visits for audit checks.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing information.
• Summarize current financial status by preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
• Secure financial information by completing database backups.
• Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Produce special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office.
• Good knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in bank reconciliation, VAT preparation, expense review, supplier invoice posting, project coding, and handling supplier queries.
