Assistant Production Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Production Manager to support our sterile injectable manufacturing operations. The role reports to the Production Manager and will help ensure that all processes, documentation and quality systems meet cGMP and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee production area processes and maintain the documentation system, including SOPs, batch records and protocols.
• Prepare, review and update SOPs covering aseptic techniques, equipment operation and quality control.
• Ensure batch records comply with cGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor documentation for gaps, drive corrective actions and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide training to manufacturing staff on documentation practices and QMS procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• 9‑12 years of experience in sterile manufacturing of injectable products in a regulated plant.
• Deep knowledge of aseptic manufacturing principles, cGMP regulations and sterile documentation.
• Proven ability to manage SOPs, batch records, protocols and QMS documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
