About the role
The Associate Director – Affluent Banking will lead the acquisition and management of affluent and emerging‑affluent clients across the region. Reporting to senior leadership, you will combine strategic planning with hands‑on relationship management to grow revenue while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to generate revenue and drive the Digital Agenda.
- Achieve defined targets for new customers, transaction volumes, product mix and liability growth.
- Onboard all new‑to‑bank (NTB) customers referred by branches and direct‑sales teams.
- Design and implement sales call plans to acquire large prospective customers through referrals.
- Maintain and update Sales MIS, including calls, prospects, attritions and business outcomes.
- Deliver professional customer service, resolve complaints and maintain high client satisfaction and retention rates.
- Lead by example, foster a culture of compliance and collaborate with risk and control partners.
- Ensure accurate KYC/AML documentation and detect suspicious transactions, money‑laundering or fraud.
- Uphold anti‑bribery, anti‑money‑laundering and financial‑crime risk procedures.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a sales and relationship manager handling banking and investment products.
- Strong communication, negotiation and client‑service skills.
- Ability to lead teams, set expectations and work collaboratively with risk and compliance functions.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and client‑acquisition targets.
