Automotive Workshop Job Controller

About the role

Zayani Motors is looking for an experienced Job Controller to lead its automotive workshop. The role ensures efficient workshop flow, high‑quality repairs, and profitability while maintaining strict compliance with warranty, ISO/DOS and health‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop operations, bay utilization and labour efficiency to maximise profitability.
• Analyse repeat‑repair data, conduct road‑tests and quality checks before vehicle delivery.
• Lead, coach and mentor technicians, identify training needs and oversee apprentices.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, DOS, warranty guidelines and internal audit standards.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives such as 5S, Kaizen and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Diploma or related certificate with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in automotive workshop management.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and profitability.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and accept constructive feedback.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office and related business software.
• Knowledge of automotive warranty procedures and manufacturer repair guidelines.
• Familiarity with ISO and DOS compliance standards.
