Barista

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and passionate Barista to join our café team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality coffee and beverages while delivering excellent customer service and supporting smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare coffee, tea, and hot and cold drinks following company standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other café equipment.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality and presentation of every beverage.
• Take customer orders, handle payments accurately and provide a welcoming service.
• Keep the coffee bar and work areas clean and hygienic.
• Monitor stock levels and restock beans, milk, syrups, cups and supplies.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing and daily café operations, especially during busy periods.
• Handle customer feedback professionally and support teammates as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a café environment (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and espresso‑making.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Friendly, energetic, positive attitude with great attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced setting, reliable and punctual.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
