Cashier – Retail Sales

About the role

The Cashier will represent the Apparel Group brand by delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within the store. You will handle point‑of‑sale transactions, maintain visual standards, and support store operations during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with product selection, and convert browsers into buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program to encourage repeat business.
• Maintain store visual merchandising standards and ensure stock is displayed attractively.
• Process POS transactions, handle cash, credit cards, vouchers and issue receipts, refunds and change accurately.
• Record inventory movements and keep accurate stock reports.
• Adhere to loss‑prevention policies, SOPs and maintain confidentiality of sales data.
• Work flexible shifts, including extended hours during sales periods and overtime as required.

Required profile

• Presentable, well‑groomed and professional appearance at all times.
• Up‑to‑date product knowledge across all brands in the group.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to security and loss‑prevention practices.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sales figures.
