Director Global Business Development

About the role

The Director Global Business Development will lead Al Zain Jewellery’s international expansion from its headquarters in Manama. This senior, full‑time position is responsible for shaping and executing growth strategies across key global markets while preserving the brand’s luxury heritage.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement international growth strategies and market entry plans.
• Identify new markets and build strategic partnerships with distributors and retail partners.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key stakeholders worldwide.
• Collaborate with marketing, retail, design, and production teams to support global product launches.
• Set revenue targets, monitor KPIs, and report performance insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in International Business Development and New Business Development for luxury or premium brands.
• Strong business planning skills, including market analysis, forecasting, and roadmap development.
• Track record of achieving sales growth across multiple regions.
• Experience in jewellery, luxury goods, fashion, or related industries is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations or related field; advanced degree a plus.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Manama and travel internationally as required.
