Draftsman – Glass & Aluminium Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Draftsman to produce detailed shop, fabrication and installation drawings for glass and aluminium projects. The role involves working independently while collaborating with project managers, site teams and clients to ensure accurate and timely delivery of technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop, fabrication and installation drawings for glass and aluminium installations.
• Produce panel layouts, elevations, sections and technical details.
• Incorporate site measurements into final drawings and manage revisions.
• Coordinate drawing updates with project managers, site teams and customers.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and installation requirements.
• Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Provide technical information to operations and installation teams as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Draftsman, preferably in glass, glazing, façade or aluminium industries.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience in Bahrain or GCC countries is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Understanding of glass systems, shop drawings, panel layouts, fabrication details and installation requirements.
