Electrical Foreman – Lead Installation & Maintenance Team

About the role

The Electrical Foreman leads a team of electricians and technicians in the installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of electrical systems. The role ensures work is carried out safely, on schedule and in line with project specifications and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electricians and electrical technicians on site.
• Assign work tasks and manage manpower to meet project schedules.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, schematics and specifications.
• Monitor installation works including cable laying, termination, panel and lighting system installation, power distribution and control systems.
• Inspect completed work, rectify deficiencies and ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
• Assist in testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Maintain records of daily progress, manpower allocation and material usage.
• Enforce HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Report work progress and site issues to the Electrical Supervisor.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma, ITI or Trade Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• At least 2 years of experience in a foreman or team‑leader role.
• Experience on construction, infrastructure, commercial, industrial or street‑lighting projects is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documents.
