Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced aviation engineering professional to lead a high‑performing team at a world‑class cargo airline. Reporting to the Director – Technical, you will head the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and ensure the fleet remains airworthy.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce, revise and manage maintenance and reliability programmes.
• Initiate and control the review and implementation of incoming FAA Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins (SBs).
• Prioritise work requirements and hold weekly meetings with teams to discuss projects and maintain aircraft serviceability.
• Lead the engineering team, including recruitment, staff development and performance management.
• Oversee Technical Services, Airline Maintenance, Technical Records and the Technical Library.
• Manage project delivery and ensure compliance with Part‑145 and Part‑CAMO regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience.
• At least 5 years in Technical Services or a similar engineering leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Ideally hold an EASA, FAA or ICAO engineering licence.
• Experience with Part‑145 and Part‑CAMO environments.

Required skills

• Familiarity with FAA ADs and Service Bulletins.
