ESG Reporting Analyst

About the role

The Analyst – ESG Reporting will support Bapco Energies’ sustainability and ESG reporting activities by collecting, analysing and validating environmental, social and governance data. The role is suited to a detail‑oriented individual with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for sustainability, responsible investing and corporate responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal and external ESG reporting processes, gather data across business units and maintain ESG dashboards.
• Prepare clear presentations and visualisations of ESG performance for senior executives and external stakeholders.
• Assist in drafting and editing the Annual Group ESG Report and other sustainability disclosures, ensuring alignment with GRI and other recognised frameworks.
• Research latest ESG trends, regulatory updates and reporting standards (e.g., SASB, TCFD, IFRS S1/S2) and assess implications for the company.
• Track the company’s performance in external ESG ratings, identify gaps and propose enhancements.
• Support ESG projects and cross‑functional working groups by providing data, coordinating meetings and monitoring progress against strategic ESG goals.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD and IFRS S1/S2.
