Heavy Driver / Crane & Forklift Operator

About the role

Azizi Foods is seeking a reliable Heavy Driver who can also operate crane and forklift equipment to transport goods safely across local and inter‑city routes. The role involves delivering products, loading and unloading cargo, and ensuring vehicle cleanliness and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive heavy trucks defensively and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks.
• Plan efficient routes using maps or tracking systems.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo, being aware of cargo type and handling requirements.
• Maintain accurate logs, accident reports, and vehicle condition records.
• Report incidents, mechanical issues, and road conditions to dispatchers.
• Keep the vehicle and associated equipment clean and in good working order.
• Assist with ad‑hoc duties assigned by the shift in‑charge.

Required profile

• Valid heavy‑vehicle driving licence.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to safety and personal hygiene standards.
• Willingness to follow company policies and accident procedures.
