Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain. The role ensures that guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations, including cleaning of guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house zones.
• Inspect rooms and areas for quality and cleanliness before release to the Front Office.
• Coordinate room assignments, duty rosters and staff scheduling.
• Train, coach and evaluate room attendants and other housekeeping staff.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with safety standards.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory of linen, cleaning supplies and guestroom amenities, reporting shortages or making requisitions.
• Enforce hygiene, health and safety regulations throughout housekeeping operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to guest service standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead by example.
• Good communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with housekeeping management systems (preferred).
