HSSE Manager

About the role

Comsip Al' A'ali, a VINCI Energies subsidiary, is looking for an experienced HSSE Manager to lead health, safety, security and environmental initiatives across its oil & gas and power energy projects in Bahrain. You will embed a safety‑first culture, ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HSSE policies, procedures and management systems aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analyses and corrective‑action planning.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and environmental impact evaluations.
• Monitor compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Design and deliver HSSE training for employees, contractors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with government authorities, emergency services and third‑party auditors.
• Manage site security protocols, emergency response plans and waste‑management programs.
• Prepare HSSE performance reports for senior management and champion improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety or related field.
• NEBOSH IGC/Diploma (mandatory) and ISO 45001/ISO 14001 lead auditor certification.
• 15–20 years of HSSE experience in Oil & Gas and/or Power Energy sectors.
• Proven leadership of multi‑site or large‑scale projects.
• Excellent communication, training and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
