Industrial Services Operations Manager

About the role

The Industrial Services Operations Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end operational performance of TÜV SÜD’s Industrial Services division in Bahrain. The role leads technical teams, ensures compliance with international standards, drives efficiency, and supports business growth while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Industrial Services division (Inspection, NDT, Welding, Pressure Equipment, Asset Integrity, etc.).
• Ensure full compliance with TÜV SÜD procedures, accreditation requirements, and international codes/standards such as ASME, API, ISO, PED, and National Board.
• Plan, allocate, and optimise manpower, equipment, and resources to meet project timelines and client expectations.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvement, KPI monitoring, and performance management.
• Support business development by preparing technical proposals, reviewing contracts, and participating in client meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with key customers in oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, utilities, and government sectors.
• Oversee project execution, reporting, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Manage budgets, cost control, invoicing cycles, and operational profitability.
• Ensure competency development, training, and certification of technical staff.
• Lead audits, internal reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of experience in Industrial Services, Inspection, TIC, or Oil & Gas operations.
• Proven experience managing technical teams and multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, PED, National Board codes.
• Experience in budgeting, resource planning and operational performance management.
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer‑facing skills.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
