Information Security Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Information Security Analyst to monitor, detect, and respond to security threats while enhancing our overall cybersecurity posture. The role works closely with IT, engineering, and compliance teams to keep systems secure, resilient, and aligned with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, alerts, and logs for suspicious activity.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analyses.
• Support the implementation of security policies, controls, and best practices.
• Assist with incident response, post‑incident reporting, and security audits.
• Collaborate with IT teams to secure networks, systems, and applications.
• Maintain and improve security documentation and procedures.
• Support firewall, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection systems.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or IT security roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and incident investigation abilities.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Experience with security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection).
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and encryption technologies.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS Controls.
• Vulnerability assessment and risk analysis.
• Incident response and security audit procedures.
