Localization Specialist – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a Localization Specialist to lead and optimise multilingual projects across various markets. Working remotely, you will collaborate with content, marketing, product and language teams to ensure that all materials are culturally adapted while preserving our brand voice.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end localisation projects, from planning and coordination to review and delivery.
• Adapt content for cultural relevance, maintaining brand messaging across languages.
• Coordinate translators, reviewers, vendors and internal stakeholders to produce high‑quality localized assets.
• Review translated materials for accuracy, consistency, tone and cultural suitability.
• Maintain terminology databases, style guides and localisation standards.
• Support localisation of websites, applications, marketing campaigns, documents and digital content.
• Perform linguistic quality assurance checks and identify improvement areas.
• Monitor workflows, timelines and project budgets.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, customer support and regional teams to enable market expansion.
• Analyse localisation performance and recommend process enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in localisation, translation or language operations.
• Strong understanding of localisation principles, cultural adaptation and multilingual content management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the required languages.
• Proven project‑management and organisational abilities.
• High attention to detail and quality‑assurance expertise.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
