Logistics Engineer

About the role

The Logistics Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Salmabad, responsible for designing, optimizing and managing logistics and supply‑chain processes across Haji Hassan Group’s construction and manufacturing operations. The role ensures the timely movement, storage and distribution of materials and finished products to projects and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze logistics workflows and develop cost‑effective transportation and warehousing solutions.
• Support procurement through inventory planning and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate with operations teams to improve efficiency, reduce waste and align logistics with project needs.
• Monitor performance metrics, prepare reports and recommend process improvements in line with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Strong logistics engineering and supply‑chain management expertise to design end‑to‑end material flow.
• Solid operations management and procurement experience, especially in construction or heavy‑engineering environments.
• Advanced analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and optimise cost, quality and time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management or a related field.
• Proficiency with logistics planning tools, ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and collaboration skills with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Salmabad and coordinate with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders.
