Mechanical Technician

About the role

Fives Services Gulf is looking for a Mechanical Technician to join its Bahrain team. The role involves servicing, corrective and preventative maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery, ensuring continuous operational readiness in line with SOPs, HSEQ and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure timely completion.
• Perform administration, configuration, calibration, maintenance, programming and qualification of assigned equipment.
• Carry out repairs and maintenance on PTMs and related machinery according to contractual and customer specifications.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment and process errors, applying established techniques to resolve issues.
• Provide on‑site support to customers, ensuring equipment complies with relevant standards and regulations.
• Maintain technical integrity and performance of mechanical equipment at all times.
• Monitor safety requirements and ensure all maintenance activities meet company, customer and industry safety standards.
• Gather, record, analyse and summarise operational data, preparing reports as required.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of mechanical equipment, machinery and related processes.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for basic equipment and process errors.
• Willingness to work on‑site and support customers as needed.
