MEP Engineer – High‑rise & Villa Projects

About the role

Our client, a leading construction firm in Bahrain, is looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of high‑rise buildings and large villa projects. You will oversee the full lifecycle of MEP systems, from design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with local codes and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire‑protection systems for high‑rise and villa projects.
• Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals and technical queries.
• Conduct site inspections, identify technical issues and coordinate timely solutions.
• Manage MEP subcontractors, engineers and technicians to meet schedule and quality targets.
• Ensure all works comply with Bahraini building codes, safety regulations and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress, budgets and schedules, and prepare regular progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in MEP engineering for high‑rise buildings and large villas.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and safety standards.
• Excellent coordination, problem‑solving and communication skills in English.
