Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor ensures the accuracy of all financial transactions performed during the overnight shift at Mövenpick Hotel Bahrain. Working independently, you will balance revenue from rooms, food & beverage, and banquet operations while supporting front‑office guests.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily revenue audits and reconciliations for rooms, F&B, and banquet departments.
• Verify and balance credit‑card settlements, city‑ledger accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Prepare daily financial reports, journal entries and revenue summaries for management review.
• Monitor discounts, voids, rebates and miscellaneous charges to ensure compliance with hotel policies.
• Review no‑show charges and guest account transactions to maintain accurate billing records.
• Assist front‑office operations during the night shift, handling guest inquiries and issue resolution.
• Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial records and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Experience balancing cash receipts, credit‑card settlements and city‑ledger accounts.
• Proven ability to work independently during night hours with strong attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with capability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
• Good understanding of hotel revenue streams and front‑office procedures.
