Plant Manager – Composite Manufacturing

About the role

The company is a fast‑growing advanced materials manufacturer in Bahrain seeking a Plant Manager to lead its specialist composites facility. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will act as the number‑two in a lean, entrepreneurial environment of about 25 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Drive overall production and operational performance of the plant.
• Lead health, safety and environmental management initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance, equipment reliability and warehouse/inventory control.
• Implement quality, continuous‑improvement and lean manufacturing programs.
• Provide workforce leadership, development and resource planning.
• Support new product development, process optimisation and future growth projects.

Required profile

• Significant experience in plant, operations or general management within composites, advanced materials, technical textiles, polymers or related sectors.
• Proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams and delivering operational performance.
• Hands‑on, problem‑solving leadership style suited to a small‑to‑medium enterprise.
• Commercial awareness with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Experience supporting product development, technical innovation or process improvement.
