Project Planner (Construction)

About the role

The Project Planner will be responsible for estimating project timelines, monitoring progress, and ensuring that deadlines are met across multiple construction projects. Working closely with site managers, engineers, and procurement teams, the role guarantees that material supplies and scheduling align with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, cost and time management plans.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, assemble supplier quotes, and coordinate orders with the procurement department.
• Act as the main interface between the company, clients, and external parties to close out procurement activities.
• Review new jobs, identify RFIs, scope discrepancies, and support the Setting Out team.
• Manage project correspondence, produce weekly/monthly reports, dashboards, and Earned Value Management updates.
• Facilitate communication between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience in a fit‑out or high‑rise construction environment.
• Background in 5‑star hotel, public area, or commercial projects (preferred).
• Willingness to work in Jeddah or relocate within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven ability to manage extensions of time, baseline schedules, and multiple concurrent projects.
