Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of our software applications. The role combines manual testing with automation efforts and requires close collaboration with development teams in an onsite environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business and technical requirements to define test scope.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman.
• Execute database validation using SQL queries.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Contribute to test‑automation initiatives where applicable.
• Ensure software meets quality standards before deployment.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of QA experience, both manual and automated.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tracking tools.
• Knowledge of Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or comparable automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in API testing (Postman/Swagger) and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Preferred ISTQB certification.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum environments.
