Retail Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Project Manager with extensive experience in joinery manufacturing and interior fit‑out projects. The successful candidate will lead multiple retail installation projects from kickoff through handover, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Organise project kick‑off meetings with internal departments and fit‑out teams, aligning scope, timeline and expectations.
• Conduct site assessments, surveys and photography, reporting critical dimensions and loading zones to the Setting Out Manager.
• Perform on‑site setting out/marking of joinery equipment when required and address technical queries from clients or general contractors.
• Manage project schedules using MS Project, generate daily/weekly progress reports with photos, and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate daily communication between fit‑out teams, factory personnel and client representatives, escalating discrepancies promptly.
• Observe installations, recommend adjustments to equipment, and ensure smooth handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience with reputable joinery manufacturing or interior fit‑out companies.
• Natural leader with strong stakeholder management and high sense of responsibility.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Proactive, self‑driven, and capable of managing multiple projects independently.
• Team player who can identify strengths and weaknesses and drive continuous improvement.
