Retail Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Retail Project Manager to lead the delivery of custom joinery and interior fit‑out projects for our retail clients. The role involves overseeing projects from kickoff through handover, coordinating internal teams and external contractors, and ensuring high‑quality installation.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and lead project kick‑off meetings with internal departments and fit‑out teams, aligning scope, timeline and expectations.
• Conduct site assessments, surveys, and capture critical dimensions, loading zones and photographic records.
• Perform on‑site setting‑out and marking of joinery equipment, and resolve technical queries from clients or general contractors.
• Manage project schedules using MS Project, generate daily/weekly progress reports with photos, and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate daily communication between factory, fit‑out crews and client representatives, escalating discrepancies as needed.
• Observe installations, report adjustments to equipment, and ensure smooth handover.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years experience in joinery manufacturing or interior fit‑out environments.
• Proven leadership ability with a self‑driven, high‑responsibility attitude.
• Strong stakeholder management and excellent oral and written English communication.
• Team‑player who can identify strengths and weaknesses and drive continuous improvement.
• High confidence and ability to work independently without constant supervision.

Required skills

• Project scheduling and tracking with MS Project.
• Site surveying, photography and documentation.
• Setting‑out and marking of joinery equipment on‑site.
• Technical troubleshooting of MW equipment throughout its lifecycle.
